Save yourself!

    Have you ever flown with your children? As you half way listen to the stewardess explain emergency procedure, one of the most important bits of info is "if air masks should deploy, please place the mask on yourself before putting it on your child." That pertains to everyday life. As parents, we want all that is best for our children, but what about ourselves? We have to service ourselves in order to be there for our children.
     As parents, we sometimes forget that we were a couple first. The date nights and spontaneous sexy fun times shouldn't go out of the window just because we have kids. Put the air mask on your relationship with each other, your children will see what a good marriage looks like. If you're a single mom, find time to do something as simple getting a manicure or going nowhere by yourself. Same goes for single dads, grandparents, and caregivers in general. Put the air mask on to save yourself to save your kids.
